This 8" x 10" portrait is designed for a single pet and typically features a head and shoulders composition, allowing me to focus on the expression, personality, and details that make them uniquely them.
Each portrait is created by hand using professional coloured pencils on high-quality artist paper. Built slowly, layer by layer, my goal is to create more than a likeness. I want the finished piece to feel familiar, capturing the little details that make you smile and say, "That's them."

Photo Requirements
Please send 3–5 of your favourite photos, along with additional images that clearly show your pet's eyes, markings, and fur colour. Photos taken in different lighting conditions are especially helpful.
While you're welcome to send your favourite images, I will select the photo that will create the strongest portrait.
Please Note
Backgrounds are not included by default. Custom backgrounds, and special requests may be available for an additional fee. Additional pets are not available on this size.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your place in my schedule.
Portrait prices do not include shipping.
Shipping costs will be calculated separately based on your location and added to your final invoice.
Most portraits are completed within 4–6 weeks.

Please provide at least 5–10 photos of your pet, including the images you would most like featured in the portrait.
Additional photos showing eye colour, markings, and fur colour are encouraged and help me create the most accurate portrait possible.
While you're welcome to choose your favourite photos, I may recommend alternative images if they will create a stronger overall composition.

This portrait is typically created on 11" x 14" artist paper and is designed to feature two pets in a custom composition. Depending on the reference photos selected and the composition that best suits the artwork.
Occasionally, I may choose to create a portrait on 11" x 17" paper instead of 11" x 14" if the reference photos and composition would benefit from a little extra space. This allows me to create the strongest possible design while giving your pet room to shine. If I feel a larger format would work best, I'll discuss it with you before I begin. There is no additional cost for this upgrade.

While you are welcome to send your favourite images, I will select the photos that work best together to create the strongest overall composition.

Most two-pet portraits are completed on 11" x 14" paper. However, if the selected reference photos or composition would benefit from additional space, I may choose to work on 11" x 17" paper to create the strongest possible portrait. There is no additional charge if I make this decision as part of the artistic process.
