Trusting the Process When You Can’t See the End
Not every drawing flows easily.
Some pieces take longer.
Some start off awkward, messy, and uncertain.
And sometimes, I reach a point where I wonder, “Is this even working?”
That’s the uncomfortable middle—the space between inspiration and completion, where doubt loves to sneak in.
But over time, I’ve learned that beautiful things often look messy before they look meaningful. That the magic isn’t just in the final piece—it’s in the layers. The trust. The commitment to keep going, even when you can’t yet see how it all comes together.
Trusting the process means believing that the emotion will rise through the chaos. That the heart of your work will reveal itself if you stay with it long enough.
So now, when I hit that messy middle, I take a breath. I let go of the pressure to finish perfectly, and I return to the reason I started: to create something that whispers love.
Even when it’s unclear… I trust it’s becoming.
With Love
